I’m scared now

I thought I am full ready for the operation but hearing some consequences during the operation makes me nervous. They gave us options in case something happened while they need to sedate me during the PD operation, like I might run out of air and if that happens, they needed to put a tube it’s either inside my mouth or in the nose, what’s bothering my is the option of needing to make a whole in my throat for me to breathe. That’s scares me a lot. Backing out is an option for me but we already spend weeks here and bought the equipment needed for the operation, plus all the solutions we gathered already. Sigh I’m so hopeless at this moment. Anything for your thoughts on this, please. Thanks. Photo is me. Trying to make a sad face - old photo

Just think how experienced the doctors are, and how many operations they have done. Since they are experts they are good at what they do. You have every right to be scared, but try to remember those things.
