Great time for nostalgia

Romania

I am at home all the time for more than a week now, because of the forced leave I am on. So, nostalgia breaks in from time to time. Yesterday, I listened to songs of my childhood, and memories were flashing in. It is strange to see that my childhood was more than 20 years ago. How do you cope with being a lot of time at home?

There's a lot of chores to handle. Yesterday we went to the supermarket so I had to cook food. In the afternoon I tended the garden and cleaned the yard. Today we are giving the dogs their weekly bath.

@Alexandoy Some dogs hate water, some enjoy it. Our dog is afraid of it.

@rappeter13 yes, our dogs are used to the bath although when they sense it, one of our dogs would hide under the computer table. But after the bath, they enjoy the day, just sleeping in the living room.

I've been in the house for years, I'm probably used to.

I am, too. But I miss going to work, to play football and the Saturday night parties.

Being retired, we spend a lot of time at home anyway so it's not much different.

It is easier for people who stay at home most of the time. I am also like that, I don't like to go out after coming home from work.

Just fine. I'm a homebody type of person and don't go out that much even before all these. There's a lot of things to keep me occupied at home from household chores to movies, games. Anything I find entertaining....

I am not going out too much, neither. But because I don't have to go to work, and I usually work 7 days per week, a lot of free time for me.

I am fine being at home always. It's been a week since I last went out of the house. There are lots to do for me at home besides tending my online hobbies.

I believe you. Luckily, my parents do the majority of chores, so I am blessed to live with them.
