What positives can you make out of this negative?

Well, I guess as the days go on, and changes are happening each day, I am finding myself taking it all in my stride. I have a calm air off acceptance now, which is great.
I'm finding my positives out of this negative:
I've more time to write
I've time to read widely
I've time to do some painting
I can spend time with my inner being and enjoy meditating
I live on my own, and so can spend time learning more and more about myself
I can binge watch some of my favourite comedy programs and give my mind a break from everything going on
I'm finding that friends and family are home to talk to more now, and it's nice to be in touch. Possibly now more than before while everyone was so busy
It's nice to slow down, enjoy the small things and no that we will get through this, and come out the other side appreciating our friends, family, the earth, our environment, our society, our community a lot lot more.
So everyone can make a positive out of a negative. What are yours?

I've had some crazy weeks planning home schooling, so I don't think I'll be able to sit down for anything except planning til next weekend. Then I think I might find some nice music and start reading some of the books I wanted to start reading ages ago.
Right now I'm saving money though. Since I'm a teacher, we're supposed to just continue teaching. So same salary but I don't have to fill the tank that often, I can't get lunch in the cantina everyday, the petrol prices are low and the interest on morgages are going down.
Of course, there's always online shopping.
And there's lot less pollution. I've read the numbers somewhere, the reduction in pollution save quite a few people.

Yes cleaning is very relaxing, it clears the negative energy and it's physical aches.

1. The earth is breathing. Its healing even for just a while because of less human activity, pollution etc.
2. Families are together, doing things together, more time to bond with each other.
3. We take care more of ourselves this time.
4. We find time for things we don't have time before because we are too busy.
5. We re-discover our selves, learn new skills.
6. Now more than ever people are praying around the world.
7. This pandemic brings the bad in people but it also brings the goodness in each one. There'll always be something good no matter how bad situation can be.
8. I learned to be grateful for each day, for everything and to look for the beauty and good in all. Even if I have to look harder for it these days. But still there is something good, something positive always.

@eveeexpress I'd lie if I say i'm not scared of what's happening around but I do my best to stay calm and positive for my sanity and the people around me too. I know I cant change what's happening around me but choosing to see the positive in the negative gives me strenght to cope through hardtimes. These things I've learned and most of all to be steadfast in faith. Let us pray for each other.

True, every cloud has a silver lining. It requires determination to look for good in challenging situations. Often we end up finding our contribution, hence give us opportunity to attend to our blemishes.

Yes! I love this. Thank you!
I realised today that my neighbours are smiling and waving more now. The community here is lovely. I've not long been here.I'm also trying to phone/videocall at least one friend or family member a day. I've got unlimited calls so why not. It made my Auntie's day today. She's in her 80s and miles away and I did try and keep in touch, but it's hard with life going on. Today, I surprised with a phone call, and have told her that once this is all over I am taking her on holiday. She wants to visit a few places in England and Wales while she can, and I have the time to do it with her. In fact, I will love it.

My positive response is to come to terms with human vulnerability; that our lives are interdependent on ideal environment and respecting healthy boundaries with other inhabitants of planet earth.
It is a sobering fact that nobody should be segregated from basic needs to access provisions of all social and financial resources. Covid-19 seems to have hit hard those with existing poor health. This says I must assist individually and collectively. I must mobilize awareness at community level for starters.
