Letting Go, makes us free....

So while I was reading some of the wisdom points listed by a Chinese philosopher, Lao Tzu (Founder of Taoism), the point that drew my attention was " letting go, makes us free" I somehow believe the same, but I have always wondered what exactly this "freedom" is..... I do understand that letting go, can set you at peace but can it actually make you free..... Can our inner-consciousness agree to this freedom totally.... Plus: This video is really nice!!!
