What are you doing while you're "sheltering in place"?

By now a lot of people are staying home and self-isolating. I'm wondering what y'all are doing while this is going on.
Our daughter and her husband are both working from home now, so that's good that they can do that.
Our son is the store manager of an Office Depot and a lot of folks are needing more office supplies while they're trying to work from home. I'm thankful his store is doing well, but it means he and his employees are around potential virus carriers.
My husband and I are retired, so no job to think about. And living in the country is a blessing since we can get outside more than those who live so close to neighbors. We're staying busy, he has projects going on, and there's usually something good to watch on Netflix.
There's a closet that I've been wanting to clean out and organize, so this is a good time to do that. My hip is still sore and I'm limping a little, but I'm so very thankful I didn't have to go to the doctor.
We're pretty well stocked up on food and toilet paper for now. I wish all our kids and grandkids could come stay with us, but we'll see I guess.
To be honest, I'm really glad I don't have to try to home school the little ones. At least if cabin fever sets in, we can get outside. Recently we were able to have a campfire and enjoy it from our shack in the back yard.
So, what are you all doing to pass the time? Has your life changed very much during this pandemic?

Being a retired homebody, little has changed in my daily life except increased annoyance at people.

Are you saying that online people annoy you even more than people in person?

I still have a few doctor appointments, but they are very precise in how they are getting things done. I went in this morning, and literally, as soon as I entered the door of the healthplex they took my temperature.
Since I have time I am watching things on my DVR I never got around too. In addition, I have books and magazines I have yet to read.

@1creekgirl I have to go there times in April, to three different doctors. I'd rather not, but they all insist I come in.

Ooh so glad to hear that you having a wonderful time there.. you are engaging in your daily activities better than when the virus was not there I think. We are having a bad time here. Work from home doesn't seem.to work well. But still we are trying to handle the situation at our best.

Glad to hear that. But you're right, there's no telling what will happen from moment to moment. Life with Covid19 isn't so awfully different for us compared to so many people. Lots to thank God for.

@1creekgirl Just taking it one day at a time. Whatever happens, happens. It is completely out of my control ultimately. I can control PIECES of it. But it's really up to fate.

I'm used to being at home; but my husband is suffering from cabin fever. He's been going out to the stores; but he's in a high-risk category; and I worry about him.

It hasn't changed much I guess. I mean I lost my job as of March first which had nothing to do with this virus. The company closed. Then this hit so it is making it very difficult to find a job right now.
I am using this time to do little projects around the house, playing video games, napping, Mylotting, and anything else I can think of to take up my time.

Before the covid emergency my daughter had made plans to bring the kids to stay a bit during my spring break. Her hubby was doing major work on the floors and walls in their house and they had to be out of it for him to do so. She homeschools and we went on with our plans, but we all just stayed around my house. I have lots of open space for playing outside. I always have crafting and cleaning to do. I may have some duties at the school, just a bit and no face to face. We got together with my son and daughter-in-law in a large meeting room at her work that is closed to the public at this time. I went to church online in three different locations last Sunday

My life has definitely changed dramatically...I am always on the run and I usually travel, domestically, at least once every other month. So it has felt difficult to stop all travel and confine myself inside. I guess I am a busy body. But I am also getting a lot of things done around the house. I re-did a walk-in closet, plan on doing some painting in the coming weeks, and lots and lots of cleaning and downsizing.
Take care of yourselves!!!

@1creekgirl House has never been to clean and tidy. I got into the garden today for a while to do some much needed work and I’ve started to learn German. Many books are getting read and far too much food is being eaten so a bit of self discipline is called for.

Not much has changed for us. Besides moms hours have gone down. And no ice cream trips
