How Are You Guys?

I think most of us are all in the same situation. At home and in quarantine--not because you are experiencing symptoms of the Corona Virus, or sick with it, but because we do not want to come into contact with someone who does have it or is a carrier for the virus.
Are you having fun yet? And yes, I'm saying this with a sarcastic tone. That is just my nature and I do not mean any harm by it. Some of you are used to staying at home every day. But if you are usually putting in your 9 to 5 at work, how are you adjusting? Are you bored?
I am back to working on notifications. I got all caught up and then took it easy so it is my own fault. I'm going to try to be more active in this last week of the month. I have also been taking advantage of the sunshine an getting some yardwork done. It's been beautiful here with sunny, blue skies and temperatures in the 80's.
Stay safe everyone!

Things are good here thank God. My daughter is working from home and we're trying to keep as normal a routine as possible. I miss seeing my friends and family but I would rather we all stay safe and healthy.
Hope you're doing okay with being stuck in the house

@Marilynda1225 I, too, would rather stay home and make sure friends and family are safe. It's the right thing to do. Stay safe~!

Yep, I understand that and my take is we should be thankful for what we have. I ran to the store right after lunch to get some toilet paper and walked down the cereal aisle. There was a man there just looking and shrugging. When I passed he said, "They don't have anything." I responded, "They have bread and milk and toilet paper-WIN! We should be thankful for what we CAN get!" He didn't say anything to that. Their stock wasn't totally wiped out and not bad at all. We should all be thankful for what we CAN get and stop all this complaining about things that we can do without for a few days.

I am afraid it might be a long wait - they told us we are in lockdown until May.

We're are two of the ones who are used to being at home. I can imagine some are getting very antsy at having to stay away from work, friends, etc. We have 18 acres to get out in if we feel so inclined so we're very lucky in that way.

Exactly. So far it is the best to stay at home. Luckily I can work at home most of the time, but today I am still in the office. That's OK as the situation is getting better here. Even though, I am still very careful to do precautions.

Of course, I'm having fun. I'm used to staying home, but then my brain thought I might be bored and gave me another story to write. Not like I don't already have plenty to work on. Especially Vendetta that I want to finish by the end of the year, I have another book idea to work on.

We are staying in as much as possible. I'm not thrilled with hubby's work status but he is only down for 4 nights this month also. He may get called out before then but I'm hoping not! Our cool spell is over so we are back to 70's and 80's here - YAY!

@kareng This weather is so not seasonal. I hope that doesn't mean that we're in for a really hot summer...although I still would take that over a cold winter!

Even though I'm not someone who works 9-5 outside of my home, I am still feeling bored. However, I have several ways to entertain myself to keep my sanity. I have mylot, I have Netflix and when I feel like I have too much of it, I just go to our yard, take photos of the flowers. I have my Danie, a Bichon frise, to play and cuddle with. I have my son and we would play Switch.

@kareng I watch tv series one after another. So far I haven't gotten tired of it yet. Our lock down was supposed to end on the 14th but was extended till the 30th.

I'm the one whose used to it so it doesn't bother me. Of course I would like to know that I can go to the store if I run out of something or get a craving for something ..... right now sushi sounds really good but I'll bet that's one item I won't be getting anytime soon. Sooo, I have sardines, that'll have to do.

I am used to being inside, but there are things I go to that I can't right now, and I'm bummed about that. I am reading, cross stitching, and doing housework.
