Yesterday, we have our first COVID-19 here in our province. Our province is already in an enhanced community quarantine. But now that we already have one case of coronavirus, for sure the authorities will be more strict in the implementation of the quarantine. I just hope and pray that this will be the only case that we will have here in our province.
Let's continue to pray that this pandemic will be over soon.

@allenjames you are right. We in India also have lot of cases all over the country but there was none in our state until recently. I felt the same when I got the news of 3 confirmed cases 2 days back.

Yes. It's a bit alarming, to be honest. We already have a lot of cases in our country. But it's really different when it's in your own locality.

I am also hoping for that. Are you around Metro Manila? Or you're from somewhere else?

We are in Mindoro. It is strict here. But I think it will be most strict this time now that we already have a case here.

Yes. But they are saying that the patient was tested again, just to be sure.

@yoalldudes really? Well, I hope that the test would turn out negative on the second test. The patient is too young. The news said that the patient is just more than a year old.

I cannot understand why the virus jumps to a place where there´s quarantine.

But they say that before the quarantine started, they have a history of traveling in a nearby place. I think that's where they got the virus.

@allenjames I know. Yet if they don´t keep their distance it is very contagious.

I'm sorry to hear that :( I hope the people in your area will observe all the precautionary measures laid out by the government. Luckily for me, all suspected cases in my country have so far come back negative. We can only keep the faith and keep praying that this pandemic comes to an end SOON.

@allenjames Yes, I'm from Botswana and so far, we've had 0 positive results - touch wood. Just how long that's likely to last is up to the nation observing all set guidelines.
