Good morning everyone!! How are you doing? And how are things going in your city or your neck of the woods?
We are still staying at home and not taking any chances with getting infected. Mississippi and our county had less than 5 active cases when I checked yesterday. Since we usually go to Baton Rouge for medical appointments and visiting family we have decided it is best to wait until this blows over. Louisiana is heavily affected with hundreds down with the virus. They have also had over 100 deaths due to the virus.
I hope you are all playing it safe and this virus will die down and out very soon. It still looks like several more weeks of isolation, but it is worth it to get this bug out of here.
Stay safe my friends and check in when you can!

I'm not going anywhere either and just trying to make the best of being stuck in the house. I would rather deal with being bored than taking a chance on catching this virus.
Stay well

@Writingghost I live in the country and love working out in the yard. Our weather has been very nice too. I'm hoping that holds out.

It is odd, when you have to stay home it seems like all of the things you want to do are outside of the home. At least that's the was it us with me.

I'm doing the same thing. I am trying to get food supplies delivered rather than chance going out and about. I always make sure to wash my hands after handling any boxes they deliver plus I wash every item I take out of that box, better safe than sorry right?
Keeping my hands washed when I'm out and about is not so easy so I like deliveries.

@rebelann That's good. With the new restrictions that you state and FL put on it is going to make getting groceries and supplies to stores take much longer. We just saw what empty shelves looked like and we may as well get used to it.
Anyone coming in to TX and FL have to self quarantine for 14 days before proceeding. This goes for truckers also.

For my part-time job, I'm still required to go to work in the morning. I'm doing everything I can to be safe. But apparently many of our customers are idiots and have no idea how to practice social distancing. They try to walk right up to me and get like a foot away from my face to ask for help with something. I lost my cool this morning with a customer, because I kept backing away from him and he kept stepping closer to me. Finally I scolded him and told him to stay 6 feet away from me. We've replaced our name badges with big bright badges that tell customers to maintain a 6-foot distance from employees. Apparently, people can't read or use common sense.

@moffittjc Sure! I might have to tie something hard on to the end of the wet noodle too!

Yes, I guess crazy times bring crazy measures. Some states are imposing 14 day self quarantine when you cross the state line coming into their state. The fine is supposed to be huge. This will include 18 wheelers and what happens to all the deliveries?? Disturbing! But we have to cut this virus off.

We were suppose to be leaving Arizona and making our way to Mississippi to visit my Sons, but with campgrounds and free lands closing down, and rumors going around that many truckstops might close to overnight parking except for truckers and many Walmart parking lots are also not allowing overnight parking, looks like we are stuck in Arizona until the crises is over. So far we can still camp on free land in this state.

Texas now has a restriction for anyone entering the state for 14 day self quarantine. This is going to be bad, as other states are sure to follow suit. Imagine all the truckers held up. We are going to have a problem with groceries with this new twist.

Eventually all of this isolation will slow down the spread of the virus. Stay safe and healthy.
