Did You Get Fooled on April Fools Day?

Yesterday was April Fools Day, a day for fun and games and fooling your friends and family. We did not do any fooling here, but one of my daughter's had a bit of excitement at their house. Her daughter and grandpa banded together and took the point off of a dart. Then they took the wing back portion and glued it to the outside of one of the tires on my daughter's car. After it dried they went inside and told her dad that he better to take a look at a tire on the car. He did and went ballistic. He ranted, "That is the sidewall. The tire is ruined!" He asked who had been playing with dart anyway. The last person was little brother. But he couldn't do anything like that or could he? They couldn't hold it in any longer and told him April Fools!!! They did good and really got him on that one! Did anyone play a prank on you or did you pull one on someone else? Photo Credit: Ashley Gros, with permission

I fooled the girls (cats and dog) but they didn't get it and didn't laugh either.

Nobody in my family nor my circle of friends tried. Think our situation now is bad and doing this is something like being insensitive to what's happening. just my thought. Time will come that this will end and things will be back to normal.

Or you could view it as we need the humor and a laugh here and there. That is how it was meant. No harm done.

I didn't pull any pranks. I actually had forgotten all about it being April 1st. I've completely lost track of days now. It could be April Fools, it could be Christmas Day. Who knows? I have no idea.

That's the best part, no damage done. Some take it way too far with these jokes.

I was good this year. I usually pull one on my hubby. I did confiscate the watch he ordered for work and didn't tell him it came in. I put it in his uniform pocket so he would have a surprise. But I told a fib when he asked if it came in. That was actually the week before though.

That's a great trick. I like the harmless ones where no-one gets hurt. Sometimes people go overboard.

Yes, my daughter was telling me a few that some people shared on Facebook. One told her kids they had school today and made them get ready and wait outside for the school bus. Another told her daughter that since they didn't get to finish the semester that they would all have to repeat the 3rd grade. She started crying. That one was a bit mean!
