How SWEET is CHOCOLATE for YOU

I'm out of stock of chocolates today. It is one of my fuels not to feel sleepy while doing my online jobs. Now, I will just have a cup of coffee while having a daydream. As they said, "Food for the brain." Any sweets at your home to munch? What food that keeps you going?

When I was still in Central Asia, I'm fond of having some tea. Now, I cannot have real tea only the commercialized ones.

@youless I tried the brand you mentioned in China before. Some of them are too salty. I'm not sure why. Dove chocolates are fine with me.

I only like dark chocolate and it must be very good quality, because the darker it is the most you feel the poor quality.

@LadyDuck I like the chocolates from your country. However, it's quite pricey if being imported here.

The bitter it tastes, the better for people's hearts. It's quite pricey to have dark chocolates here.

If you had lived close to my place, I would have sent you kilo and kilo of choc bars (I had to buy them to support this or that organization, but I don't eat them, so I often give them away. Sometimes I forgot some boxes, and ... just chucked them out in the end.) I don't like sweet stuff, I like savory food.

How I wish I'm next to your house and ask them from you. I'm not a sweet tooth though. I just have them if I'm so drained teaching online at night.

@YrNemo I think that's better to have than too sugary-coated gums. How lucky they are to give them these things.

@Shavkat I found a stash of chewing gums lately (from my young relatives when they came visiting last time, they had asked me to buy these for them - from my own money ). Sounds like they couldn't eat them all up, so now I am a proud owner. They are all sugar free chewing gums, so I have been happily blowing bubbles in the middle of the night while watching movies/TV series. I feel extremely proud whenever I could blow a huge bubble (very satisfying feeling, make me think of the time I was 5-6 YO again).

I do enjoy my chocolate sugar high but try to limit the amount each day. Eating too much can have the same effect as to much caffeine, nervousness, increased urination, sleeplessness, and a fast heartbeat. It does contain many antioxidants which is a positive in providing protection against many diseases.

You have a point about the caffeine contents. For kids, they'll be hyperactive. Not good for kids who are ADHD.
