The macopa fruit

In the picture is the fruit that we call macopa. I think is called Mountain Apple in some countries. Macopa is not very popular and I haven't seen it in the market. It is like an exotic fruit that you have to plant the tree if you want it. What's good in the macopa is the sweet taste of some varieties and it is prolific with fruits almost all year round.

I love Macopa. I was the only one who ate it when I was in my Pinas garden. I love eating it with salt. You have to wait until they are red ripe.

@JhovanPH next time please avoid replying on a comment. I get confused and it's like intruding in a chat between 2 people.

Now I wish I had chosen a tropical region to settle down in, it is expensive to try to grow fruit trees here because it would require a lot of watering.

I've never lived in a tropical region so I'm not sure if I'd like that but I do know that I would love to be able to grow my own veggies and that's hard to do here @Alexandoy

@rebelann the tropics are hot during summer and we usually complain of the extreme heat. But for me, that is better than extreme cold.

@Alexandoy no sir. Tambis and macopa are somehow related but different. Tambis are smaller than macopa. While macopa is larger. And also tambis are more juicy than macopa
