Day Off & Slept It Off

United States
April 5, 2020 8:17pm CST
I took a break for a few days after it got busy at work again and felt sick but it was hormone related. I finally got some masks but managed to get a friend of a friend to make me some cloth ones so I can't wait for those. But today I was off and was so tired that I slept the day away. Now it's 9pm Eastern and I work at 10am tomorrow. I hope everyone else is well on this Sunday night/Monday morning.

Glad to hear! Did you do a service? I know many churches aren't holding services unless it's online.

@SunnyBunch I could not attend a service since the city forbids churches being open due to the pandemic.

@Deepizzaguy That was what my best friend did and my fiance's dad also did. They had to watch a video service.

@SunnyBunch It did, my friend. I refrain from watching news related to NCOV.

That's a challenge pretty much everyone is going through. I hope your stress goes down today.

I know what you mean. I had been up all night due to anxiety and might be up all night again tonight.

I get VERY sleepy before and during mine. It also doesn't help that I had been up til 6am due to anxiety.

@Janet357 I usually don't go on walks since by the time I get home from work it's too late. Crying does help but I try not to do it too often.

We've been having blackouts here, too, and I'm in Virginia! We had one for five minutes in the middle of the night last week and then one for a few hours the other day.

@SunnyBunch I believe you are not accustomed to blackouts there. Here it is a common occurrence. But we are fine with it as long as it doesn't last for hours.

Very nice of your friend to make you some masks! I need to make some soon. So far I just have a few scarves I can use, but to my understanding, it's not as effective. Hope you feel better for work.
