And that Loud Siren is for....

At exactly 7 o'clock in the evening, I'd heard a loud siren since the TV is off and the surrounding was also quiet. I wonder what it was for and I think there would be an emergency situation happening- the indicator of warning of course. I called my sister and I learnt that it is used to remind the people that it's curfew time and no one is no longer allowed to go out. Sharing you some of my take almost a decade ago during our field trip. Photo of one of the ships docked at the port of Ozamis City, Philippines. Nothing to do with the post but at same time, I am scrolling and watching older photos of my albums saved in FB.

I'm a little misinformed. Yes, that's a good warning. Thank you.

This is only for now. We're already on a curfew before this Covid thing but it was not use before to remind people.

That`s good atleast people will be reminded of the curfew. We don`t have something like that here. Only police roaming around

We hear the siren a few minutes before 8 am. It doesn't help at all. It feels like there's emergency every night. I wish they'd change the siren to something like a relaxing music. LOL

Yes, it sounds like emergency and you do not want it to hear.

It's a good thing to alert people to stay inside and not come out like they have the habit to roam
