Mango fruits at this time are no bigger than ping-pong balls. They are still tender as the seed shell has not formed yet. Many of them fall under the trees. They can be collected and made into mouth watering pickles. One way is to prepare it for short term consumption while there are other ways to preserve it for a year or longer. I am not telling the methods here. Please look for them in recipe books and internet. Refreshing drinks can be prepared from mangoes, which have proved themselves to be a good antidote for summer heat. And we also add some pieces of these tender mangoes to daal.

Do you find mango trees there? I think there are unique fruits in Australia?

@franxav I don't think we have unique fruits really, There is what they call 'bush tucker' but none of it is produced and/or sold in commercial quantities. Mangoes are grown in our tropical regions.
