We don't apply the full lockdown policy but the city quarantine. It means people can't go to other cities but it's okay if we go around our city and do our business (there is new limitation of working duration only from 8 a.m through 6 p.m . We can't gather for more than five people in a certain place but it's free inside our house if we are in one family. For certain professions, due to limitation of working duration the number of jobless people is rising. It is really misery for many people in my country.

We are doing ok, but not too well. It’s a struggle because there are so many job losses. We will probably be in another recession soon, if we aren’t in one right now. The economy is hurting everywhere, even The USA. I doubt it will turn into an economic depression though, we have the resources now that we didn’t have back in the 1920’s and 1930’s. I mean I guess it’s possible, but probably won’t happen. I’m not sure how well Nevada will survive though. They closed down Vegas which is the bulk of their economy.

Welcome to mylot.
The town you mention in your profile, Alberton, coincidentally, is the same name of a small town close to me in Canada!
I am very concerned for people- this is going to be hard, especially for areas where local economies are already struggling.
I ask myself, what can I do?
I'm one nobody, helpless in the face of such suffering.
I try to share comfort, from our Heavenly Father.
He is the only one who does have the power and wants to see everyone happy.
Psalm 145:16 says of him 'you are opening your hand and satisfying the desire of every living thing'
I'd love to share what I've learned, about why all these things are happening, and how it shows we can look forward with joy to the future.

Sorry to hear about the situation in your country post this coronavirus. I saw some clips on news network about the situation in South Africa and other African countries. We are comparatively better off at the moment but will not remain the same if this pandemic and lockdown continues.
