Remember When the Music

Today with all my worries I keep praying for everyone because I know my problems are not insurmountable others have it much worse. But what weights on me does make my load kind of heavy. So it was nice today to come across this delightful and simple song “Remember When the Music” by Harry Chapin. With wonderful lyrics like: Remember when the music Brought us all together to stand inside the rain And as we'd join our hands, we'd meet in the refrain, For we had dreams to live, we had hopes to give. The song was written and performed by Harry Chapin. It was on his album Sequel. It was written in honor of Allard K. Lowenstein who was a NY senator who was shot and killed in 1980 and Chapin said the song become more apparent when John Lennon was killed.

@RasmaSandra -- I know. There are few people, given how subjective music tastes are, that I'd say that people really missed out on by not seeing. Harry Chapin is one of those.

i miss his songs. He created so many songs that were just perfect. Flower's are Red Cats in the cradle. but this one, i have to say is one of the best. Great choice!
