Helping each other

Time's are definitely different right now, and we've all had to make at least a few changes as we go about our day during the pandemic. Many have lost income, and are struggling to keep food on the table.
I've always tried to help others, so naturally have been finding ways to help out during the COVID-19 pandemic where I can. I've donated blood, have been sewing and donating masks, and have ordered groceries and dinner online just so that I could give an extra tip (and free masks!) to the delivery drivers. When I do go out, I also pick up a few things for a friend who doesn't drive.
Have you found ways to lend a hand to friends and neighbors?

Good for you! I can't do anything in a big way, but will try to help those I come in contact with just a little if I'm able.

I'm usually very frugal with how I spend my money, but I'm not doing without and so many have lost income, so I've been looking for ways that I can help with little things like an extra tip.

@Ldyjarhead That is nice of you really. Everybody does not think in the same lines as you do.

Donating masks is a very helpful act because there is a shortage of face masks.

That's really nice of you!
What I do as a teacher is give kids something to do! A lot of parents are very appreciative for the time we spend with their kids online, which gives them freedom to work on something besides watching the kids. They are at home, but still it takes off the pressure. And the kids seem very thankful for something to do.

I've been amazed at the creative ways that teachers have found to still interact with their kids. Also happy to see that many parents' eyes are now opened to and more appreciative of just how much teachers do on a daily basis!

@Ldyjarhead Yeah, they keep saying "we should pay you more"... but not very likely, is it? (It's ok, we love the kids anyway.)
