I am whining about this concern. I honestly have financial problems lately. My teaching online is still stable. However, I am the breadwinner in my family. The goods prices are so pricey because of this lockdown. It means that my budget needs to be rectified. Now, I was informed by our LGU that I am not qualified to have the grant. That really sucks!
Regardless, I still have little faith that I can do more online jobs. I am so determined to find them soon and not later. Moreover, I will re-appeal about this matter. I am still qualified to have this grant as stated in my attached photo. Good luck to me!
"Are you on a mission to job hunt while being lockdown?"
"Are you not feeling worried that this COVID-19 will compromise your job?"

You can't reason out with them once you're notified as not qualified. So sad.

I did reason out. It seems the barangay officials are in doubt and I can see on their faces. One reason is that we are a new resident here. We just move to this barangay last January this year. Perhaps they don't bother to show care with the new people here.

@Nakitakona You are on the point with this matter. My younger brother got his grant yesterday. I didn't pursue it because I was so dismayed about this SAP.

@Shavkat The order is clear. Residents or non residents are entitled to be assisted. Same with voters or non voters as long as they are affected by the lockdown due to stoppage of their work.

Sorry to hear that you were unable to receive the grant, can't you claim it for being self-employed? I am searching constantly for an extra income as both my husband and I are unable to work during lockdown, I am feeling very worried. Our country also has some grants available, but we also don't qualify. It is a very stressful time for a lot of people.

That is what I am thinking. However, it is still the discretion of the local barangay officials. I asked my younger brother to re-apply for it. Since he is unemployed because this lockdown. He went to the barangay office to have an initial interview. Even if I cannot get the grant, it would be great if he can have it instead of me.
Regardless, I am still positive that things will be fine after this pandemic. It really affects the life of people not only here, but also in other countries.

Am so sad of the situation of the people who go hungry these days due to lockdown and yet government support is still lacking.

@yoalldudes I do like teaching online. But I don't like my company's admin. They don't know the real meaning of social responsibility.

Yes they prioritize those less fortunate families for the said cash assistance. That is why my family back home is no longer expecting on it and not to get upset after. But good thing you still have online job to do. I am also worried but trying to mange things and online jobs can be a great help too.

I do agree with you. The mere fact all Filipinos are affected financially. The bright side is that I can still teach online. It seems nothing had changed on this part. But still, I need to find other options to work online. I hope your family and the others are fine.

Don't worry, NOBODY is qualified with this program. They keep on finding ways so they can't give anything away.

@Shavkat It seems that they don't really care whats happening. Instead of doing public service, they are still trying to keep everything for themselves. By next election, it's pay back time. "Sorry, not qualified!"

@cherriefic I totally agree with you. They don't really care. This interview is a quick one. But I don't mind. For the next election, no vote from me.
