I hope you are all doing well. The past month has been a difficult one here as it has been with many of you I am sure. I was laid off work on March 27th so I have been social distancing at home. I miss my children and grandchildren terribly. I will glad when some of the restrictions are lifted and I can hug them all again.
My man has been working 60+ hour weeks so I have had a lot of alone time. When he is not working he is trying to catch up on his sleep. I have been spending my time cooking and cleaning. It is nice to have a bit of a break from work and all the stress but I will be ready to go back when the time comes. Should be in the next few weeks.
So how have you all been doing? How are you handling the corona virus pandemic? It wasn't as bad here are they had predicted and I am thankful for that. I had a lot of anxiety about it a few weeks ago but I am feeling a bit calmer lately.

Hi, welcome back. So sorry about your job. I'm glad you're feeling more relaxed. These troubled times have been very stressful in so many ways for so many people.
My husband and I are doing quite well. We're self-employed and even though business has slowed down by at least 50%, we're in great shape.
I actually like the slow down and have been wanting to back off on our work since BC ( Before Covid) lol
We spend quiet time at home with our beloved pets. I have more time to do some of the things that I really enjoy. We also visit family and friends from our online app. Even though we can't give physical hugs, we send and receive many virtual hugs and kisses.

That is good to hear. Slow down is good for a while. The main thing is to keep healthy in these times.

This has affected almost everyone. We can't go to the nursing home to see my husband. His cell phone is a God send.

Good to see you back ! It's been a "different" few surreal weeks for sure. Sorry to hear about your job, but yah, it's a good time to catch up on things at home. We are hanging in there . . . doing what we can to deal with the situation now and thinking how to move forward . . . just wishing this whole virus thing would go away once and for all!!!

I think I’m on week 8 of lockdown. My mom and I started two weeks before the official order due to her age and she was immune system. That got blown out of the water though, she just spent 5 days in the hospital for vascular problems.

I am glad that you are calming down and that your guy still is working.
Physical distancing is so important these days.
I started working from home over a week ago.
I put it off as long as I could, but now that I'm doing it, I actually like it.
I hope that things remain good at your place, we'll get thru this and then just imagine how great it will feel to hug your family members again.
