Today is the day I shall look after my nails ....

When I was at school I used to bite my nails … All my friends bit their nails too One day one of the dinner ladies came up with an idea … She said that as we were growing up and going to the secondary school soon we should start to look after ourselves....and part of that was looking after our nails ...and not biting them . She said that whoever had the best nails after a week of not biting them, using hand cream etc, would get a prize.... My friends and I were up for the challenge. Actually, it was easier than we thought not to bite them …. I am happy to say that I won the prize that very first week.... and I never bit my nails again. Although I don't always remember to use hand cream I have tried to keep my nails looking nice and often will wear nail varnish/polish. Being off work at the moment because of the Corona Virus I have not bothered with painting my nails so much ...but today I have decided that that will change ….just because I am home all the time does not mean I should not take care of my nails....it will help to keep my spirits up too I think . Just have to choose a colour now …..
