Health Journey 2020 - Day 119 | April 28th

Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I hope well. I am back to share my food/health post for the day. Weigh in (in May I will start just sharing these once a week) - last time: 179.8 Yesterday (28th) - 179.6 I have been working hard, so hope to see a drop soon. Blood sugars: Fasting - 117 Meal 1 & workout - 126 Meal 2 - 116 Numbers are not awful, but I don't like them too much. I started the day with my work out - 2 hours of Just Dance. Wanted to see if it would burn as much as the other work outs I do, and pretty much lines up. After the work out I had my first meal - a Keto Chow shake ~ with sugar free chocolate chip cookie dough flavor. So good! My second meal was pretty big - "taco bowl" ~ I had 4 ounces of ground beef with taco seasoning, 2 ounces of cheese, sour cream, sugar free ketchup. On the side I had some BBQ flavored pork rinds. I followed the meal with 2 sugar free home-made peanut butter cookies. Macros for the day - Calories - 1,213 Protein - 74 Fat - 88 Net Carbs - 21 Potassium - 3,680! Calories burned in my work out - 1,045 Steps - 15, 215 What do you think of my numbers? Do you eat a low carb diet? Do you watch your macros? Photo is mine ~ those are my Fitbit stats for the week.

I watch food on my plate and say "Come to me!" I should be more careful but I am one of the fortunate people that just kind of hangs out at normal weight. I need to work on endurance, because I do have to use my bicycle for transportation.

Cycling is the best exercise in order to burn away those calories. I think cycling comes second to swimming in exercise to keep yourself fit.

I think you're doing pretty well. No, I don't eat a low carb diet; and I don't watch my macros. I do watch my calories though. Since I can't exercise I lose weight SO slowly. It's frustrating.

Well watching your calories is something....and I am sorry you do. Being stuck in a stall pretty much, I can understand the frustrating feeling.
