It has been in my mind for a few months now that I should like to colour maybe just the ends of my hair with either a pink or purple colour. I have a couple of friends who have this done at the hairdressers and it looks amazing.
However, I wondered if I was brave enough as it does look quite a bold thing to do.
I am at home now on lockdown and this seems the ideal time to undertake such a project. If I don't like it or it does not work no one will see it as im not going out ...or I can simply cut the bottom few inches off ...my hair is quite long !
I saw on the internet of this idea where you put coloured tissue paper into boiling water with some salt and leave it, then dip your hair in the coloured water....the dye takes and when you dry your hair it has changed colour.
I am in work next week and plan to bring some tissue paper home and try it.....
What do you think ?

I've seen that, but I wonder how well it would actually do? I think it would do better for lighter colored hair. I tried dyeing my hair with koolaid once, it didn't turn out.

I think it's crepe paper not tissue paper you need for that.

That sounds like an easy method and I think it's worth a try. Good luck with your hair adventure!

I haven't tried this and probably wouldn't but you go for it if that's what you want to do. It sounds an easy way to change your hair colour.
