Did you grow cress as a child ?

I remember growing cress as a child ...in fact even now as an adult I grow it on my kitchen window sill. I saw a photo earlier ( I have tried to add it on here but im hopeless with technology)….from when I worked at my previous school. We had growing as our topic and as such were growing things inside and outside. We had a couple of these Mr Potato Head type things with the cress seeds already in the head and the children just had to water it ….and be amazed when the grass grew. This worked a treat ….although I seem to remember that none of the children wanted to eat the cress.....
