I read this morning that the disposable gloves are not good to wear. They can spread things and do not help to wear them. I am not sure I am explaining it right so will provide a link to what our Health Ministry said about them.
Still wear your mask and stay safe. I will feel uncomfortable without them, but, if they will not help the public then will not wear them.
When threw out the garbage just wore my mask and no gloves.

I am not wearing gloves and I probably wouldn't wear unless it is required. My hands would sweat especially with the rubber gloves.

That is good so you do not have to pay attention to what they do not want us public here to do. I did wear gloves and felt very safe and comfortable, but, I believe our Health Ministry and if they say they are not helping then take off the gloves and just wear the masks and wash my hands very good.

ok, but, do not have any and really not enough money to buy something. Maybe when I go to the pharmacy next week will ask what can do instead. Thanks for the suggestion Alex.

That is nice. We may just have a guard checking our foreheads to see if we have it or not.

I understand that. I still wear my mask. I read that the gloves did not work so I am not wearing them anymore.

My husband uses them when he shops.
It beats touching the grocery carts, etc. with bare hands.
He carefully disposes them afterwards and uses hand sanitizer immediately.
Once he gets home, he washes his hands with disinfectant soap, puts his clothes in the laundry, and showers from head to toe.

Do they tell the public there to wear them or are they saying they are not helping and just to wear the masks. Maybe you should wait and see if the gloves are needed or not.

Gloves are mainly for health care workers who are in constant contact with people who are ill. We need to wash hands frequently and use sanitizers.
My son who is a doctor keeps telling me to go slow on the sanitizers as it dries up the skin. washing hands and staying indoor is the best right now,

We could use the gloves up until now. I do wash my hands quite a bit because I have to clean up after the bully above us that throws things in our sinks and shower and on our porch and that is everyday. He is trying to take away I feeling of our Sabbath and holidays by causing me trouble. I cannot stay in all the time. I have to go out.

This is correct. The gloves do not help. You will remember that in the beginning we were also told the masks do not help, but now everyone is supposed to wear them. On top of that, 99% of what people are wearing as masks are not masks at all, and will do nothing at all. I suppose wearing masks just makes people FEEL safe. If that is what it takes to get people feeling more comfortable about going out a bit and reopening economies, I will be okay with that game all day.

@Hannihar It was widely announced in the beginning by the CDC and WHO that no one should be wearing masks UNLESS they are sick. Anyone not sick was not to wear them. My how times have changed so quickly, and how quickly experts seem to not really know WHAT to say. lol

Disposable gloves have to be disposed well as they can spread the infection. Our doctors have been suggesting the proper disposal of gloves and tissues from a long time. I don't wear gloves and do not feel a need to do so right now.

I bought a box full of them from the pharmacy when they came in. Now, I just have to box of what is left of them and if ever need to use for something will have them in my home. Now, I do not wear them outside.

I wonder why they say to wear them there. Could that be why so many have been infected there? I go by what information they tell us here.

I have the same situation with masks as well, I don't wear a mask or gloves. Every country has its own rules, who to trust? What is the truth really?

So are you saying scientists are telling people not to wear masks and protect themselves? I listen to who I believe in and see what they are saying and that is why we have done a very good job here containing it. Yes, there are those that did not listen, but, the ones that did listen probably are taking care of themselves.

We are told to wear masks and since they found out that the gloves for the public do not work we are not suppose to wear them. Wears are mandatory, but, not everyone follows rules here.

@Hannihar It's not obligatory here and I don't wear it, I only listen to what real scientists say and not mercenaries on TV or politicians.
One politician cannot be better understood than a medical scientist (unless he was educated for it, and most are not)

I believe what they are telling us we have to do. If not, more would be infected and die and we would go back to restrictions and since they are saying they are watching things they will see what is going on and if we can open more things with restrictions. I just wish all would see that we need to wear masks and social distance ourselves.

We still have to wear the masks and social distance ourselves but no gloves now. They said they have not helped the public out and we could be spreading germs with them.

@Hannihar I personally haven't experienced that (the glove issue). The mask thing is a bit unclear. I kept reading about the yes mask one day, then no mask recommended the next day... (so far, I haven't worn one yet but then I have hardly left the house for the last month and a half.)

I'm wearing the mask as required when coming into contact with other people. I also bring gloves with me when I shop. Items carry so many germs from other people touching them. And even if they are not as effective as there supposed to be, I'll go with an age old adage..."It couldn't hurt."

Hi DB, how are doing? I put my mask on before I leave home and then go out and do what I have to and then come home and hope I do not have to go out again. I am bringing a tissue now to use to open doors and maybe bring another to touch things at the store. Stay safe.

Glad to hear that they will be opening up things in your state.I try to go out every other week now and not once a week. I really hate going out these days. I am not looking forward to appointments I will have and have to take my scooter and wear my mask. I never took my plastic off of my mobility scooter because I want added protection when I have to venture out of my area.

@Hannihar Yes, Hanni I am being careful. I take Lysol wipes with me and hand sanitizer. but only go once a week to the store to limit exposure and I practice social distancing. I'm doing fine and our state is improving. They plan on opening some things by the end of the month.
