Maybe A Haircut?

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone. I woke up to 34 degree F temps this morning. It should get down to 32 before the sun comes up. I don't know what the deal is but I am ready for spring to stay. I'm tired of cold weather. Now that I've said that, we will probably jump from spring right into summer.
I'm not sure what I will be doing today. Probably just cleaning and maybe a load or two of laundry. I know, not very exciting. I may have my brother cut my hair. He's cut it the last couple of times and did pretty good. I usually trim it up a bit afterward. I have to do something because I can't stand this mess anymore. Does anyone else feel the same about their hair?
Well, I'm off to work on my notifications and commenting/visiting posts. Have a blessed day everyone!

@simone10 It depends what my hairdresser says. lol
I’m just grateful that I don’t need any highlights. The Florida sun gave me pretty blonde highlights on top of what my Florida hairdresser gave me. The Connecticut sunshine should keep it looking good until the Autumn.

I feel bad for women during this coronavirus crisis, not being able to go to a hair salon or hairdresser to get their hair cut or styled. For many of us guys, it's easy. I keep my hair short, so I just get out the electric trimmer and buzz away. Not quite that easy for women.

No, it's not that easy at all. My brother uses his electric razor and cuts the back, some of the sides and then I finish the sides and the top. He cuts it where I have 1-2 inches in the back. At my age, I look better with short hair.

@moffittjc It's so much easier to keep up when it's short. When I was younger I spent a lot of time on my hair but now I want something fast and easy.

I would have been letting my hair get a bit longer anyways at this time of the year. I could use my hairdresser to reopen to put the colour chemicals on it, but......I work from home, and rarely go out, so its reverting, slowly but surely, back to its original colours. I will reevaluate what colour I'd like to go with when she reopens, and I imagine that her sector will be one of the last to reopen.
Enjoy your trim you will get today.

We didn't get around to cutting my hair but hopefully next Saturday. I quit coloring my hair years ago and now it's kind of a salt and pepper look. I felt so free not having to go get it colored anymore. I know I would look younger if I did but I have no one to impress . Now, if I was to meet someone, I might reconsider

@simone10 This pandemic has taught me that I need to have my hair dresser go a bit lighter with my colour. I thought it was fine, but now I'm not so sure. I plan on having it coloured lighter and lighter until I will get it done no more and will just let the white shine. It is still salt and pepper, although it will turn white, like my mother's did probably within the next 10 years or so.

This reminds me that I need a haircut since last month. I wonder how I look now.

I cannot remember the last time I actually visited a barber's shop, must be many years ago! I decided that one day I would start cutting my own hair and that is what I do now! I bought this Babyliss for men device and it works wonders. For me, it's very easy as I have all my hair off and tend to go for the skin head look. All I do is roll the device around my head and it comes off easily enough. I find it difficult to see behind on my neck though and so what I do is to hold a small mirror and then I use a wet razor and scrape my neck clean! This sounds weird I know but it works for me!
I think during lock down everyone is having to think about how they cut their own hair now

My sister says only two seasons here winter and summer and most of it is summer all though I think I feel cold more than hot.. Not sure what that is about. I hope you have a pleasant day and stay safe
