Since I do not have any connections with my evil relatives, but their children are still connected with us. A cousin informed me that his father is going back to the USA on the 16th of May. By that time, the lockdown is uplifted.
I am concern that it is not a good idea for him to travel since the situation in America with COVID-19 cases. It is a part of showing my opinion.
Am I in a good sense with this concern?
If you were in my shoes, would you advise the same thing?

They will just brush your opinion off but you can still give your cousin a piece of advice about it. At least you did your part.

@Shavkat I'm an outcast with the family as well since they hate my guts. I say things that they don't want to hear but I only do it for their own good as well.

@cherriefic I think you are just being you. I don't think there is a problem with that. I am glad that my family members are not like this. At the beginning of this year, we ended our relationship on both sides of my biological parents.

I would avoid travel to the USA since some states will allow businesses to open but on a condition of keeping safe distances inside their business for the time being. In some states, it is like being in a prison camp.

@Shavkat That is true since in some states the governors are telling their citizens do not open up for business before they are allowed to or else they will be taken to jail.

@Deepizzaguy I must say that this uncle of mine is illiterate. I am sorry to say this but it is true. I cannot understand why my cousin cannot persuade him not to go.

It sounds like LA, California is safer than in other states in America. I heard that his daughters and siblings are going to transfer to a safer place. I am not into details about since I don't talk to them much since we cut the familial relationship with the uncles and aunts.

there are protocols in naia, during the flight and also when he lands at the airport he's going to.
also i'm sure his children in the us are also updating themselves on what to do.

@hereandthere Today is his flight. I haven't heard any news from my cousin. Since we cut the tie with them, I do not want to interfere with their lives now. Besides the point, they don't care about us now.

@Shavkat they just have to remind their father to be alert and careful from the trip to the airport, to the preflight procedures, throughout the flight until arrival.

You are correct, this is no time to travel here, Shavkat! I seriously doubt the lockdown will be lifted by then but even if it is, tell your uncle to check the specific area he wants to travel to for the number of new cases before he steps foot on a plane!
BTW, I am so happy you said that photo wasn't your uncle because I was thinking he is an extremely ugly man!
Edit to add: If you'd like, I could try and mail you some Covid 19 virus for you to give to your evil relatives...

For me, it is not a good idea to fly to the US or anywhere now. But his reasons for going there is not to travel but to be with his family. So maybe hes just waiting for the earliest time he can return there and you cant really stop him. You can only remind him of the risk and danger and that you care for their safety

well, it's not the right moment to go I suppose. Since there are many students studying abroad thinking that it would be much safer inside.

I certainly wouldn't be travelling to America at the moment. It's about the last place I'd want to go.

Then I guess you have to advise him not to go anymore.
