Sunday was Mother’s Day. Since I wasn’t able to see my mother I left a gift for her hanging on the outside of her door.
My boyfriend and I went out on an adventure. Our first stop was McDonald’s for coffee and breakfast. I got a caramel frappe and 4 hash browns.
When we ordered the girl said please wear a mask when coming to the window. Then when we pull around we see her mask is below her nose only covering her mouth. Shouldn’t even bother wearing one if she isn’t going to wear it correctly.
The first place we went hiking my boyfriend wanted to find the geocache. I was so exited thinking he was finally getting interested in geocaching. When I found it he grabbed it and turned away to open it and look through it. I was thinking wow how competitive is that not to let me get to see what’s inside until he sees it first. It was all wet inside.
The third place we hiked to was a gorgeous waterfall. I don’t stay still for more then a few seconds so when we were right up close to it he said we should sit down for a bit. I said okay after I climb down further we could sit on a fallen tree.
He kneeled down to get a drink and told me to come over and look at something in the root of the tree. Then he pulled out a gorgeous engagement ring. The photo I attached doesn’t show how beautiful it really is. It sparkles so much.
I said “really, you really want to do this? Oh my god why didn’t you warn me I’m going to pee my pants” as I accidentally wet them. 
In total honesty though I think I have a uti so I had been have trouble holding my bladder all day this was just the most embarrassing time.
He said “well?” And I hugged him and said yes. Then ran away to pee.
I kept laughing after realizing he was trying to hide the ring in the geocache we found was why he wouldn’t let me see it. He didn’t really have any interest in finding a geocache other then to put the ring in it.
It happening in front of a waterfall is the most amazing place he could have ever asked me. Waterfalls are my favorite thing to visit in nature.

@andriaperry my sister was the first to know, then my mother and father. I messaged them on the way home from the falls. Then when I got home I posted the photos on Facebook so yep you got to know before most everyone here.

@andriaperry he had talked about it for years but I always just shrugged it off figuring if he was serious he would buy me a ring. Well I guess now I know he is serious. My children's father told me when he and I split up that no one would ever want me for anything but "one thing" so it feels so unreal to me to have a ring on my finger again.

@Tampa_girl7 we are thinking July 31, 2021 but we aren’t positive yet. We need to see if we can have it at his uncles house first before deciding for sure.

@FayeHazel it has but I think it was due to a new toilet paper I bought at aldis. My daughter got yeast from it. Most likely both our symptoms were probably an allergy to the toilet paper.

@FayeHazel it has fibers and stuff that get everywhere. Even when you pull the roll to get however much you want it puffs the stuff all over like dust.

@snowy22315 yes we have. He broke up with me so many times I lost count. It’s been a few years since we broke up the last time. We had a fight about 3 weeks back and after he realized how ridiculous he was being he opened up about a lot of stuff over the years. Why he treated me how he did breaking up etc. Him bottling things was a huge issue hopefully now that he’s talking about what bothers him things will be better. I bottled things real bad for along time too.

@shaggin I think he genuinely does care deeply for you and vice versa, so that is good, but it takes real commitment, compatibility and clarity aligned goals for a marriage to work..Happy for you though...

@jrlcentral that’s interesting I had never heard coconut water being good for utis. Maybe because coconuts aren’t common here only imported.
Not sure of an actual date yet. A year from now or so.

awww how sweet! congratulations! geocaching by a waterfall seems like such a fun romantic way to propose :)
