"CAN YOU BEAT 7,450 STEPS?"

Today, I went out to go to the public market. I am using a mobile app to monitor my baby steps from the house to the wet market and vice-versa. I got 7,450 outdoor steps in total. It was not bad to have brisk walking for the day. I am a ninja with a gray face mask with a backpack. Did you do some exercises lately? Do you monitor your walking distance?

Not really. When I was still in Baguio, I often have long walks. But now that were here in the downlands, it's hard to do since it's hot!

Where are you right now? I thought we are in the same city. The good part when walking in Baguio City, the wind blows cool despite the hot weather.

@Shavkat Were kinda stuck here in Bataan since we visited some relatives. The plan is to just stay for a month so we can enjoy the beach.

@cherriefic I got it now. It is not cool to travel back home then. When I visited my younger sister in Imus, there are some cases about this virus. After a week, the lockdown was implemented.

I walk every morning and I know that I make about 4 miles, that is around 10,000 steps.

It is nice to have several steps in a day. Hopefully, I can do it more after lockdown.

I am not going to drop the name of this mobile app. But I can earn some points and can earn extra cash with it. I can give you a personal message and perhaps you would like it.

I wore a step monitor for three months at work at Walmart. I averaged 7 miles every day I worked.

Whoah! You really beat me with these steps of yours. Have you tried Sweatcoin? It can monitor your steps.

@DaddyEvil It is a mobile app. It was claimed that it can accumulate coins while walking and then, you can use them to have some money.

@Shavkat Yes, it is a mobile app that tracks where you walk as well as how much you walk. Apparently, it has trouble telling when you're walking, though. Part of the time it determines a fast pace as riding a bike, skating or even riding at slow speeds in a vehicle, which it won't pay you for. And you do earn "money" but it can only be spent to use as "discounts" on things sold by businesses who support the app. I looked into some of those business and the prices they charge for their products. You'd be much better off sitting on your couch and buying those same items at full price from Amazon. That's the reason I suggested the app Achievement. They actually pay you cash for the exercising/walking/jogging you do.

@maggs224 It is not a good idea to go out now. In my country, the local government asked the senior citizens and kids not to go out. Is it the same thing there, too?

@Shavkat We have had one for years but normally I like to walk outside, but being over 70 I have been on lockdown about 8 weeks now so the treadmill has been a God send to me.

The other day I walked over 5,000 steps, which is not bad considering that we were in isolation for a long time, after that walk I didn't know which was my left and which was my right leg ... but when I walk regularly, I easily cross 10,000+ (my phone count for me)

I sometimes cannot approximate my footsteps every day. I used to walk every afternoon before the lockdown. Now, I tend to monitor how far I can go. The good thing about this mobile app is I can check my milestone in walking.

If I go to work and go home on foot, I think I can beat your steps But usually I will ride a sharing bike to work and go home. I regard it as my exercise and actually it is not tiring at all

@Shavkat I agree. It is so risky to have a new business at present. Many things are uncertain.

I heard that it can be rented. It is not popular with this idea But I am planning to have this kind of business here in the future. It is not a good idea at present.

17 500 steps today. I've got a polar fitness watch with different settings, so I can tell it what kind of exercise I'm doing and it records distance, pulse etc.

@Shavkat That's nice :-) I wouldn't become very rich today though, only 3800 so far. But still several rounds to go outside before it's nighttime

That's nice. I am just using a mobile app that can convert steps into coins. Then, I can redeem it if reaching the minimum payout.

@Shavkat That is the problem of Filipino's here. Because if we are going for a walk local people are calling us "chinwa" they thought we are chinese and specially when this corona virus starts. It's annoying though. Sad to say we don't have garden too.

Thank you for your concern. I came back home safe and sound. Perhaps I can hit 10,000 if I drop by in the park, but I cannot do it due to the lockdown.
