Someone Wants Us Dead!

Our son was atTrader Joe’s earlier and asked if we needed any essentials, fruit, snacks, or vegetables. I texted that I could use sour cream, any fruit besides bananas or oranges, and a snack he’d think we would like. For heaven’s sake! Look at all the junk food he bought us! Nacho cheese tortilla chips, milk chocolate covered mini pretzels, dark chocolate honey grahams with sea salt, Belgium chocolate with almonds, chocolate chip sandwich cookies, and potato chips!!! He did get us the sour cream I wanted and a lovely choice of fresh fruit. After sterilizing everything including the kitchen, I really think he wants us chubby or dead.

I've heard this somewhere, not sure where. Giving food is a powerful expression of love. You and hubby are definitely loved, far above and beyond measure

Well, thank you for your kind words. I still can’t believe he bought all that junk for us. He knows we don’t eat like that. Grrrrr I gained 234 pounds just looking at it.

He went a bit overboard. . I’m shocked, because he knows we don’t keep this stuff in the house. I guess we will have to force it down our throats.

Ya think? . He drove off to put his own groceries away before I even had a chance to look in the bags. He refused to pick them up. Now he will had two extremely fat parents or two with cardiac arrest.

As I frequent TJs, I am familiar with all that stuff on your counter. Oh those nacho tortilla chips that are hiding in back . . . keep that away from me . . . I don't buy that because I know darn well what happens to that bag it it comes into this house. But, it's nice that your son thought to get the extras . . . I do that for my parents as well .

@DianneN If they did, they wouldn't tell me . I really don't go overboard though because my dad has some dietary restrictions . . . I just sneak in some "different" stuff for them. My mom is a creature of habit (that's why it's easy to shop for them because I know exactly what she wants) . . . so I like to get them stuff that they've never tried that I think they would like.

My ribs are just fine, thank you very much. He won’t come into our house like your son. Nor does he want us at his house. He cares too much about us to perhaps be a carrier and give us the virus. Now that’s what I call REAL LOVE.
