I have had three marigold generations since Claudia and her children gave me marigolds in bloom for Christmas,
My first marigolds were in bloom and one by one they dried out and shed their seeds. And I got some and planted a few.
The marigolds came out. Not many, just 4. So I watered them and hoped. They showed the tiniest buds so I transplanted them. And I got more seeds from the jar and planted them.
The ones I planted are big, but not bog enough. I have tried to transplant a couple of them and they have died. They were too little. So now I´ll waid until they show a tiny bud to try again I´m keeping my fingers grossed because this is not the season.

@LadyDuck I hope the covered terrace will help although I will have to keep Luna out of my plants.

It happened to 2 of my youngest marigolds. I learned to have patience and the rest are growing where they were born.

@marguicha Marigolds are excellent flowers. We grew a lot of them in Africa. You just couldn’t kill them!
