Did lockdown help you to grow in any part of your life?

Egypt

I can admit that for me this lockdown helped to find my way to happiness and success. I had lots of free time to think already before, because I wasn't really working in past two years. Then Corona came. Then I decided I need a last one week holiday before everything closes. So I booked a trip to Egypt. I planned a lazy beach holiday and sunshine. Guess what happened..Just on that day when I booked the holiday for started raining like crazy, like haven't happened in 30 years. Just on that day and continued next two days..my hotel was flooded. So I came back from there two days earlier to Cairo. I thought there at least I will get good WiFi. I wanted a last day trip before I leave Egypt. I booked a day trip at the desert. That's how I met my boyfriend. I had an amazing private trip, so I decided to extend my stay for a week. One hour later Egypt announced airport closure. I stucked and I'm in Egypt since..But during this time I made LASIK surgery and bought a villa project at the north coast which was a dream for me. This was the last one because all other villas were sold out.

@TheHorse Very nice! What are you writing about? If not secret ?? I been always planning to write a book but it needs more patience from me. I started to write, then stopped since I'm in Egypt, but I will continue soon. I'm sure if I were in UK at my room all these time, I would have written maybe half of it. It will be adventure, travel, drama, mostly from my life.

Egypt, I think it is a wonderful place to visit. I wish to have the chance to go there one day. For me life with the corona, is almost the same, here in Malta it was that much of a lockdown, and since we are part time farmers, we still had to go to the fields. Enjoy your stay.

@DianeBorg Oh Malta is a beautiful place too! I haven't been there but seen photos. That's good then, you spend a lots of time in the outdoors as before, so not much change for you. I mostly miss the nature..to walk in the nature. And it's sad that it's 35 degrees and beaches are closed in the past two months or so..

@Alexandra_bright Yes Malta is a very beautiful place, although sadly it is being transformed with the building of tall apartment blocks. Here the beaches are open but they advise the people not to go, although most people don't listen and are going the same. Hope this virus disappears soon.

It's hard time for most people, but I believe by middle of June things will get back to "normal" or almost there.
