I get nights like that , and when I do I suffer with a headache the next day.

Yes some times we don't get sleep due to over thinking or some other reasons.. I also face like those days.. Hear soft music it helps a lot..

I haven't had a sleepless night in many years.
But when I had that problem every so often, I hated it. I knew I'd be tired and worn out the next day. And I had nothing to do when I was awake at three o clock in the morning.

when you have insomnia ( unable to sleep) take a cold shower. You will fall asleep.

I usually do my work when i can't sleep, just trying to be productive so when i have to come to the office i can take a nap for about 15 minutes 2 or 3 times because sleeping 1 hour straight when i work will get complained by the manager LOL

First of all cup of coffee before bed is not gonna help you sleep. Caffeine is a stimulant. And if its just one night issue, just ignore it. And stay away from coffee after evening. Try some calming music, meditating apps or sleep musics if you experience for continued. And finally consult a doctor and nay be they can help if you cant find anything for yourself
