People are being so hypocrites!!

I hope most people must have heard about the elephant dieing eating the crack filled pineapple thus killing the baby in her womb. I dont even want to read or retell the details. Yes, its sad and heartbreaking. No doubt about that. And people are signing petitions to get culprits punished
But here comes my question. We use poisons, sparys to kill from ants, cockroaches, lizards, spiders, rats to anything. Did we ever think they have family or if they are pregnant? Then why is it just the elephant?
People including me the non vegetarians have no conscience eating the grilled, fried, curried chicken to fish to meat in our plate, and signing petition to find culprit at same time.
How hypocrites we can more be? Humans with no humanity!!

Humans are very cruel and selfish. They kill and destroy to fulfill their needs and desires.
