Prambanan Temple is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia. Until now it has not been certain when the temple was built and on whose orders, but there is a strong suspicion that the Prambanan Temple was built around the middle of the 9th century by the king of the Sanjaya dynasty, namely Raja Balitung Maha Sambu. It was hundred years before the coming of Islam in South East Asian countries.
The temple that faces the Wisnu Temple is the Garuda Temple, which faces the Syiwa Temple is the Nandi Temple (ox), and the one facing the Brahma Temple is the Swan Temple. Thus, the six temples facing each other form a corridor.
This temple is located around 40 kms from a city where i reside now. Every mid of lunar month, when the moon is full, a dance-drama of Ramayana story is shown live by traditional dancer in the yard of the of temple.

That's beautiful.
We visited Bali for a couple of days a few years back. We saw few lovely temples there. But could not see much due to short time there.
