My Uncle Lost His Battle to COVID

Got the news late last night that my uncle passed away in the nursing home in quarantine, on a ventilator, from COVID.
I had a feeling all week he was declining. The nurses stopped giving me information a few days ago. I was never added to the call list. Another issue I have been dealing with.
I have called all week, held for up to 30 minutes each time, waiting on updates about his condition. Something told me to keep calling. So I did. Finally at 11:00 pm last night I got a nurse to tell me he had passed just 10 minutes before I called.
I stayed out on my deck last night until after midnight staring at the full moon. A few clouds. Then it was like all of a sudden, the clouds left and I could see the bright moon shining.
I snapped this photo with my phone. Not as good as what I witnessed but it was very peaceful and comforting.
He is at peace now. Thank you all who have supported me through his issues the last few months. Have no idea how the arrangements will be handled.

Your Uncle is in heaven, no more sickness, no more pain and he's in perfect health! Yes, you will miss him, but he's experiencing a fullness of joy! On earth, we only taste a small amount of God's perfect love:) In heaven, it constantly floods by day and by night

@CarolDM Marnie was outspoken, her descent was Hungarian. She spoke the truth, which some people didn't like to hear. I bonded with her, she was always kind to me! My mother adored her.

So sad to hear this @CarolDM
It seems too many in nursing homes are being exposed to the virus. You know they did not go anywhere themselves and get the virus. It was brought in by someone no doubt with no symptoms.

So sorry. I was hoping you would get to see him again. But you are right. He is with his wife now. I remember you saying he was ready to be with her again.

@CarolDM I just came, I was out all day. I know it's not the time, but I have to mention that I didn't like the fact that they didn't answer the phone at all...you are welcome Carol

My deepest sympathy.
Eternal rest grant unto your uncle, oh Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
CoViD-19 has taken many lives. Includes relatives and friends in my circle, too. Hu Hu.
