Music is the language of the soul.

Who would have thought that after four months of CoViD-19 forcibly changing the norm, quarantining humans all around the world, in a pandemic so lethal, comes a new deadly tide that visibly pervaded our senses, the sheer injustice caused by racial discrimination, such as we witness on our screens the past twelve days.
We gasped in disbelief. We choked as mere introspection on the cruelty of looting lives reduced us to silent tears rolling down our cheeks.
Who had not been touched? And grieved?
Oh, perhaps there are still the callous ones in denial that all men are created equal. The seeds of Cain.
Albeit a few hours ago, after days of shouting and screaming, music was heard. Music heals because it is the language of the soul.

This is beautiful. The world should be singing together and not abusing power.

Also, as a music teacher, I am teaching my students about the responsibility of musicians and artists as people who can lead towards a good change in society.

@petatonicsca Musicians are very disciplined. In my country, whenever there is unrest, the people turn to music and bring the music on the street.

I loved the way you've expressed your thoughts. You're a great writer
Music sure does touch our souls in ways that no amount of words could ever do. It's the greatest healer and eye-opener indeed.

Thank you very much. That is heart warming.
From the few lines in your response, I think you are a great writer, too. In mylot, your line 'Music sure does touch our souls in ways that no amount of words could ever do,' is quite profound.
