Do you rate people's posts here or just roam through the site without giving thoughts to rating? If you start a discussion, do you pick the best response? I do...

i give a + ve ratings to all.......so that they can earn a few bucks.....and choosing a best response completely depends on the quality of the responses.......

So you don't base your ratings on the qulity of their response, just on whether they responded at all? Doesn't that make the rating system just as bogus as one word answers?

I always read all responses to my discussions, rate them and eventually pick a best response. I think everyone should do that. It's not a "discussion" if you don't comment on their response as far as I'm concerned.

I rate Peoples posts all the time as it is only fair if they send a good Post that is gets rated and anyone responding to my Posts if they are good they will get rated all the time

I like to rate them too. I think that people who actually put thought into their posts ought to be rewarded and it is my little way of contributing to that idea.
