Fashion, technology, and other things that are trending, do you all follow it? Sometimes I'm very surprised with people who have low economics but always try to follow trends, it's not wrong. But the mistake is that they are more concerned with appearance and prestige in front of their friends.
Do you think that following the trend is very important and appropriate? please give me your opinion.

Fads and fashion come and go. The young people are almost always entice to join the trend. Nothing wrong with being young and in.
But one must make sure that the spending is not over and beyond one's means.
As far as I am concerned, I wear hand-me-downs from my daughters. I don't care about clothes, just my cleanliness and hygiene.

Following trend is not important for me.
But yeah you're right now a days many are trying to following it even though it's not require.
Fellows who can afford following new trends or fashion_then its their choice. But for the lacking person should not force themselves just for show off..
Smile out there!

I am very uninterested in trends. I am past the age where I want to collect stuff; I'm trying to get rid of stuff. Living in the same house for almost 20 years gives ample time to collect way too much. My clothes are all pretty much timeless "fashion" such as turtlenecks or button-down shirt so I never have to buy new clothes any more.

It's fine to follow but if one is unable to afford they shouldn't feel shy

It’s really all up to the individual. There’s nothing wrong with following the trend or not, if that’s what you like then go for it. Personally, I follow the trend when it’s not the trend anymore. I don’t know why but I’m really late to them.
