I'm losing my sight

Good day friends
I was very scared today. At one point I felt something was happening to my eyes, my vision. I had a feeling that I was losing my sight, the pictures started to double in front of my eyes, I was going down the stairs and the stairs were elongated, when I saw my son, I saw him twice and I managed to tell him that I could not see well. It lasted a few minutes and it passed.
I know that stress leaves consequences on my health, but this scared me.
Do you know what happened to me? Have you had a similar situation?

Oh! That does not sound good. Simple reason can be some change in vitals like sugar levels or blood pressure . It would be better to consult a doctor.
I could not make out anything from start of your post.

@Nevena83 Did you consult any doctor to rule out any possible seriousness?? I hope it's nothing much to worry about. Oh! I guess your language is Spanish... Just a wild guess

That`s scary my friend. Go see an eye doctor to help you out with your problem before it gets worst. It`s better to fix it earlier than to be sorry later

@m_audrey6788 Yes, that's smart thinking, but I don't know when I'll gather my courage and go to the doctor.

Stress can cause your blood pressure to rise, and a high blood pressure can put a strain on the eyes, causing the double vision (or other vision problems). I always know when my blood pressure starts to get really high, because my vision will start to get blurry. I would contact your doctor and have him check your blood pressure levels and see if that may be the issue.

@Nevena83 You are lucky that you have naturally low blood pressure. That will be a good benefit to you in your lifetime.

Maybe the same food supplement that I take with lots of carotenoids, would help.. It was composed by Dr Furst years ago.. it is good for the blood vessles too..

@Nevena83 -You might find it on the net if you search neolife.. you can also add tomatoes, carrots and other carotenoid rich veggies to your diet..they work best as cooked and with good olive oil

It could be an eye problem, but it could also be the first sign of another illness. Ask your doctor as soon possible.

A scary moment indeed.
I have double visions, too, when my sugar is uncontrolled. Vision blurry.
But please consult the ophthalmologist. Seeing well is very important.

I had the same experience two months ago. Maybe because I have had sleepless nights. But it is best to consult with your MD.

@LowRiderX You're right, maybe it's blood sugar, I've never controlled it, and I believe that stress could have done something like that.

@Nevena83 Blood sugar, not blood pressure.. it has to do with the eyes

That is really pretty scary. It could be anything..maybe if you get it checked out you will be relieved because it will turn out not to be serious. Try to think positively.
