Out our bedroom window and a busy day in the city

Most myLotters know we live in Western Australia. We went to Bunbury, our nearest city, yesterday. We both had dental appointments which had been rescheduled from May. We also had a host of small things to do – things that we can’t get or do in Donnybrook.
We picked up batteries for our hearing aids, Vince had a long-overdue haircut, I bought some pillow protectors and we found something that will become a knob on the little display case that we are making. We don’t need any dental work done but made new appointments for early January for the next check-up.
At night, we played Ticket To Ride online with our son who lives near Dublin in Ireland, and his friend who lives in Belfast.
And what a lovely start to the day to see this young ‘roo feeding outside our bedroom window. She looks like she needs a bit of a brush but I don’t think that will be happening.

Do you know about how many different roos congregate around your home? And can you tell them apart? I was wondering if you had names for each roo, or if there are too many of them around to do that?

Glad you had a good day. Maybe if you talk to her nicely.

Ticket To Ride, I've never heard of that online game. It's amazing how you can play a game with your son, who's in Dublin! Your drive to Bunbury sounds like a nice trip, Jay's dentist is 70 miles from our home. Little miss Roo, she's so cute:)

Your pict reminds me and english magazine for students which supported by aussie govt when i was at school. The name is kang guru. It resembles our 2 nations.
Kangguru is indonesian name for kangoroo.
Kang guru literally means my brother teacher (kang means older brother in our vernacular and guru means teacher)

I play online, not just with our son but on my own so to speak against bot players. I think that's the term. I just bought the Pennsylvania version and it was only $5.95. I now have about six different countries and each is a little bit different so you don't get bored with just the same rules. I haven't tried playing online with 'real' people apart from with our son and his friend. I have played online with Vince as we only have one or two 'hard' games. I'm sure you'd love playing it online.

@BelleStarr That would be so cool! I've played Catan too as board game and I see Steam (which is where TTT operates from) has a free version so I might check it out one day. TTT might be free too if you want to check out Steam.

I'm sure Vince is happy with the haircut. You accomplished a lot on your day out.
Love the picture of the 'roo.
It's good you could play the game with your son and his friend. It must have been interesting with three different locations playing together.

You had a busy day. It was nice that you could enjoy a game with your son who lives so far away! The wonders of modern technology. Do you get 'roos around your house every day?

@LindaOHio Mostly they hop it. But there are a couple who are more used to us and are slower to move.

@JudyEv Do they run when they see people or are they used to them? Or I should say "hop"! :-)

She does look a bit unkempt, maybe her stylist cannot get to her because of the virus.
