Students might miss one school year

Most of the parents in our neighborhood wouldn't be sending their kids to school. The school year starts on August 24 and if the virus is still here the classroom may be deserted. The online class is not finalized yet due to issues with logistics. Maybe the start of classes would be delayed again.

I feel sad for them that they will miss an entire school year. At least plans for online classes are being set up. Better than nothing

They are doing online classes here and I think both the children and teachers like it better. I know my cousin discovered a parent was doing all the work online and that was a sad situation. I don't know what became of it but the parent admitted it in a comment not realizing he/she was talking about herself/himself.

That is one issue that I want clarified. How can a test be administered in online classes? There's always the search engine aside from the tutoring elder.

@Alexandoy Yes that problem does remains in Online tests. We have even seen parents helping their kids. Yet this is not going to help the kids. However, no classes is also not going to help.

@just4him yes, the issues look easy to resolve but it is actually too difficult because the underlying problems are unprecedented.

That is really sad. Since they canĀ“t go to school, the parents can teach them housekeeping at home, like cooking, cleaning and some DIY craft like sewing with their hands. I would do that if I am in that situation. At least the time is not wasted.

It`s much safer not to go to school if the virus still exists because kids can`t control themselves from social distancing. Kids here don`t mind about social distancing and it`s sad if they get the virus

@m_audrey6788 Here the schools are designed in a way that social distancing is tough to be maintained.

I agree to the safety precaution because children especially the grade school students wouldn't be able to fully observe social distancing.

I think the schools should have started with Online classes on some App. In India, online classes are being conducted in most of the schools. Not sure about the colleges as yet.

Your schools there are normal because you have little number to show in the infections. I hope that you will not experience what we are having now. We have 30,000 plus cases.

This not good at all that students are getting suffer, the government should do something for them. Difficult to teach social distancing to kids. Because they forget when they meet their friends. So I believe online education is best & government, should provide gadgets to kids & also to the , teachers to teach the subjects I feel bad that , none of the students should loose their precious, years because of the foolishness of government. Let the wisdom flow in kids. I pray lord should open the doors for students, to get learning safely in this home .

@vilma143 on the other hand the schooling is needed. It is not good to waste 1 year of the student's education. The government should find a way on how to go on with the schooling.

@Alexandoy That is the best choice, 'cause by sending them to school they afraid that the virus might be scattered. Parent will think and looking forward for the safeness of their children. Still a good choice and the decision making is right.
