Hey everyone. I know it has been about a week? Maybe? Since I have posted. It hasn't been a good time for me. Just bad news after bad news, drama, my own life drama, and just so much heartbreak. I won't really get into details because reliving all the events would just make it worse. Just know that I am okay, it doesn't have anything to do with health, my mamma is fine, my grandma is fine, I am fine. So after dealing with all this hell, I had one thing to look forward to and that was today. Knowing that my favorite band of all time was going to release a reimagining of a song from their album We Stitch These Wounds, their debut album. WSTW's 10 year anniversary is coming up and that is normally when bands can do a rerelease of their album. Their reimagine of We Stitch These Wounds is Restitch These Wounds, (isn't that so cute?) and it is coming out next month, on my birthday. Knowing how much this band means to me...that is an amazing birthday gift. The song they put out for the announcement was Sweet Blasphemy. Which is my FAVORITE song from WSTW. (Besides The Mortician's Daughter, but that is more of a sentimental favorite) So after the month I have had, I couldn't help but cry because I was just so happy. I don't know what deity, spirit, spaghetti monster is watching over me right now, but they gave this little piece of happiness that I needed oh so desperately. Even though it is just a coincidence, the fact that it is my favorite song and the album is releasing on my birthday...I just... I just feel like it was perfectly meant for me. I am so happy. So, please, enjoy a little piece of me. The Reimagining of Sweet Blasphemy, and I hope you all are doing well.
