How's your financial health during this pandemic?

It's been a week since I started working from home. Working from home has its pros and cons. But I like to focus on the pros. I don't want to delve into negativity, just good vibes in this time of pandemic. Let's turn something good out of the bad situation that the whole world is facing right now. I thought of working from home is a great opportunity to work on our financial health. Yes, you read it right! We should not only take care of our physical health but also our financial health. Would you know how much you saved from working from home? Your guess is as good as mine. You do your math, in a week how much savings you have for the fare and food expenses when going to work during this pandemic. Daily Fare x No. of Working Days = Savings from Fare Daily Food Expense x No. of Working Days = Savings from Food Expenses That's how much you saved! It's never too late to start saving.

I don't earn much from online. But glad that I still have my job. These online earnings help me save some bit.

Saving matters a lot. Even you save little by little but that little will grow. Better to have something at least, than nothing.

I understand that income on some jobs online are irregular. Yes, I am referring to stable jobs online. But whether it regular or irregular income, depending on your situation, one can still or must set a small amount for savings.

I'm working from home since before but because of this pandemic, everyone is required to stay at home and because of it they are making noises

Are you living with your family? I understand it is difficult to work when you are distracted with noise. I think you should inform them of your working hours and in those times they should not make any unnecessary noises and not to disturb you.

@Timex123 Oh it's your neighbor. Unless you have known each other, you may talk to them regarding the noise if they can be considerate.

It hasn't been necessarily easy, but my husband does still work, as he is an essential worker. It's just tight as I haven't been able to get work prior to the virus and don't have an income. But we're managing.

We are blessed to have good finances during this crisis. We all know how difficult it is for people who are in fields that are still closed. Thankfully my husband works from home and are not required to go back to work.

We've saved a good deal from not eating out and not shopping for clothes, etc. It's amazing to see how much money was spent on that every month.

A realization also to me that there a lot of things I spend on before pandemic are just wants and I can live without them. Sample of these are regular buying of milk teas and eating lunch out when I was still working. It did saved me a lot of money during this pandemic. Thank you fof sharing your thought and for dropping by. See you around!
