I Know it’s Not Christmas, But..........

I received this photo yesterday from our younger son. I burst out laughing. This was little Kuma, his female kitty, who spent the last year of her life and many vacations living with us.
We think she had some brain damage, but oh how we loved her! She was so odd, but so cute.
Our son once found her in a girlfriend’s Christmas tree sound asleep in this crazy position for hours. He thought she had passed away, so gently touched her. When he did, she fell out of the tree in a panicked frenzy, taking half the ornaments with her and toppling the tree.
I visit her grave in my rock garden every day.

That's a funny incident... I'm sorry about your kitty but yes, I bet she created a lot of such funny moments with you guys while you had her. I don't know if it's the same with all kitties but I've noticed that particularly the tuxedo variety is always so funny and mischievous. Never a dull moment with them. My sister has one too and the kitty has a big fan following on instagram! 2 people like this

@DianneN You're absolutely right, she's doing quite good on keeping those numbers going up 
I always thought that kitties don't interact much and prefer to be aloof but this one changed my stereotype for sure.

How cute! So sad to know Kuma is gone now who must have kept family in stitches, her gift. Hallmark has Christmas in July.

Just started Christmas in July. In my TV Spectrum has in TV guide so I check because I've seen a lot of Christmas shows already. I've found Antenna TV channel, with old TV sitcoms so I watch so much old shows when a show is in I've seen already.

I couldn't find your cat Kuma initially but found it only after reading your discussion. What made her to sleep in such an odd position and location is truly mysterious. You must be truly missing her.

And this is why I haven't had a Christmas tree for years! I enjoy the ones at school and in the shops. I hardly ever do Christmas decorations at home, ever since my new kitty (long since departed) got the zoomies every night and knocked the tree over. Every night.

Oh and by the way, I had one cat who liked to sharpen her teeth on the cow's horns in the manger scene, and bat Mary and Joseph and Baby Jesus off the shelf. So that got put away too. She totally lost the sheep and I still haven't found it. Maybe she ate it.
