Well, looks like schools will be opeing with the pandemic in mind and the classrooms are going to be insane. I can see now that many are going to try and go for the distance learning. I hope that they do the same in our district, because I am leaning towards putting them in distance learning so that they will be at home and maybe go to school once or twice a week.
I am not sure how they are going to do everything. i have read that they were going to put them in groups and have some kids go for like two days in person and then distance learn for the rest of the week. I guess we will see.
I hope that you are all doing well.

@Keyia120 How do the kids react. Do they like home schooling or regular schooling.

@piyushbhatia1 Mine like both, but they have been asking to go back to school. Mine are 8 and 11 so they will adapt to change, but I am not worried about them. I am worried about the other kids and their parents when it comes to sending them to school without a face covering ext. We already have a district that said they wont implement the face mask option for the school.

I heard from my professor friend in Oregon that they are starting online on Sept. 8. Some colleges are doing hybrid.

A lot of parents around here seem to have a hard time deciding if they will allow their children to get back to school. Although it will be online classes, the issue will be the computer and internet connection since not everyone can afford it.

I think nobody is going to really know until the week of school starting, because things change daily. I am pretty sure that my international school in Tokyo will be back in person on two half day schedules (half of the kids in the morning, half in the afternoon, no lunch at school) for the first two weeks, and then supposedly we are going to regular schedule.

Hopefully the opening up of schools doesn’t cause a resurgence of virus cases.

It's all a bit worrying and I think we are still groping towards a safe way of teaching. Distance learning is less than perfect, but until we have the virus retreating I am all for safety. Mind you, I don't have any kids, so , of course, I am all for limiting classrooms!

Really...how is this possible? And I don't think parents will be willing to send their kids to school
