Two Butterflies On Same Bloom

After coffee earlier I went out to water the garden before it heats up today. I saw these two butterflies on the same bloom. What we call a twofer!
They really enjoy the butterfly bushes in Dustin's garden.
Snapped several photos and managed to get these two. One is a male tiger swallowtail, the other looks like a phaon crescent. Never seen one exactly like the brown one.
Sharing the joy and excitement of the morning with you. And the bluebirds are still in the house. They will be leaving any day now. These blooms are just below the birdhouse.

I'm new here as of last spring. Last year I wanted to see what was already growing, so didn't plant anything. This year I planted two types of baby butterfly bushes out back. I see a lot of butterflies here in Santa Fe and I want them to come to my place! I am eagerly waiting for these to grow. I saw bees on one little bush already, the blooms have yet to bloom on the other. I know the butterflies will come eventually. Your blooms and butterflies are just gorgeous! Great picture. Pretty. I almost stepped on a baby sparrow this evening. Mom and dad got mad at me. But I wanted to check the raspberries was all.

@CarolDM I think it had. That push is near some pines on the property line so I am not there that much. I would easily miss a nest.

@moffittjc Yes, I went for it. A friend on here asked for a photo and I told her I would change my profile pic! I am holding my cat Brendel in this one.

What a great twofer! The landscapers came and tore out everything next to the house so that the painters could paint. Maybe next year I'll have them put in some butterfly bushes.

Oh neat. Last year on the beach I saw several butterflies mating. That was pretty unusual.
