Sharing a few photos of Dustin's garden with you, at the request of our friend Dianne.
Trying to show you the layout of his garden, instead of individual photos here and there. These are three photos I recently took this year of his garden.
I will try to get a full shot of everything eventually in one shot. The problem is some flowers bloom before the others.
The top left shows the roses and his memorial stone placed at the base of the rosebush.
Top right is the Lilac bush in bloom, with the birdhouse and the bench in the background. This lilac is the first to bloom, usually in April. Then it remains green through the summer when the blooms are gone.
Bottom photo shows a fuller image of the garden. If you look closely you can also see a bluebird on the perch behind the bluebird house. There is an engraved bench sitting in front of the bluebird house.
The white butterfly bush is on the left, the purple one on the right side. And the autumn joy sedum is in front of the purple bush. This is only the second year for the purple (Black Knight) bush. I cannot wait to see how big it will grow. There is also an angel to the left of the rosebush and memorial stone.
I hope this helps get a better idea in your mind when I talk about Dustin's garden. And, I am always adding and removing things each year. The bird house will come down once the babies leave.
Better photos coming soon. Stay tuned!

@CarolDM Absolutely I feel it too. Do you have a little bench to sit on where you can gather your thoughts? It is your special place Carol and thank you for sharing it with us!

Thank you for sharing! I have always wondered what the full garden looked like, as you have only posted snippets here and there in the past. It's a beautiful little garden, and I love the colorful plants you have placed there.

@moffittjc Thanks, I try to add plants that will attract butterflies and hummingbirds. I have a list of more I want to add eventually.
