This is what my friends are looking for. It seems Facebook is still a good use for some people. For me, it is really not a reliable source of information now. Do you think the owner needs to filter the information shared here? Image Credit: upload.wikimedia.org

Yes...it really needs that feature. Anything stupid can easily get uploaded there and end up circulating well

I never used facebook as a source of information, except for information on who my friends are dating etc. I've never considered it as a news source of any kind really. It's good for organising things, finding out when the next farmers market is and checking out your friends photos.

I do agree with you. Some of my friends are irresponsible in posting some fake news. I had encountered them before.

Facebook is not the right place to get authentic information. It's OK for sharing social photos and articles.
