The rain can ruin the dragon fruit

The fruits of the dragon vine are maturing that they can be harvested in 2 or 3 weeks. But I'm afraid that the rain can destroy the fruit. When there is too much rain and it's cold the fruit would swell and sometimes even crack.
Our dragon fruit is the purple type that is very sweet.

@Alexandoy That is interesting. I love watermelon. I would probably like dragon fruit then.

You can use plastic bag to protect them. Dont forget to make small holes

The plastic bag will ruin the fruit when the sun is hot.
