Your inner child

No matter how old and mature we are, I believe, there is always that little mini- version of ourselves, who never grows.Sometimes that small child just unexpectedly shows up and does something peculiar or bizzare, which strangers can consider weird and start judging.Despite my age, early thirties, I let myself being childish sometimes. Whenever I see big fluffy teddy bear in the store, I use any chance to hug it. Whenever I feel like eating ice-cream or chocolate, I turn to capricious spoiled child, asking hubby to buy me that. I still like watching Disney cartoons. I still read fairytales and dream of magic kingdoms and elves. Sometimes I just think, I need to grow up, but that inner child holds me back. What do you think, Is it so bad to be a bit childish? And what about yourself. Are you childish sometimes?

Yes I behave some times as a childish for enjoying my needs.
Some ties I play with my Kid as a child too.

It's fine dear but at times only. Cannot expect my wife to behave childish all the time so it's OK on certain occasions

@BelleStarr I see! That's quite tough when life teaches the child to grow up faster before time.

Sometimes, we adults, forget how to easy it is to be childlike and be filled with wonder and curiosity. T opposite of child-likeness is childishness-- selfish whiny, complaining, sooky, foolish.

There isn't nothing wrong about keeping that inner child alive! Please never let her die! You were once one, why hiding it? I know we have grown up, it's a fact! But that doesn't necessarily mean that we are not allowed to be a child. I love watching cartoons, anime, etc! Being a child sometimes gives me life!

@Julie555 absolutely! I refuse to be boring and serious! No way! Ever now and then one has to let one's inner child go out for a while!

I think it's natural to be childish, while it can make you feel happy, why not?
